Mary, Queen of the Universe

. . . a woman adorned with the sun, standing on the moon, with the twelve stars on her head for a crown. Rev 12:1

Angel appears to Joseph

The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because she has conceived what is in her by the Holy Spirit." Matt 1:20

The Wedding

Joseph did what the angel of the Lord told him to do: he took his wife to his home . . . Matt 1:24

Birth of Christ

While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to have her Child, and she gave birth to a Son, her first-born. She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them at the inn. Luke 2:7

Flight to Egypt

So Joseph got up and, taking the Child and His mother with him, left that night for Egypt, where he stayed until Herod was dead. Matt 2:14-15

Jesus Found in the Temple

His mother said to Him . . . "See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you." "Why were you looking for Me?" he replied. "Did you not know that I must be busy with my Father's affairs?" Luke 2:48-50

The Holy Family

Jesus went with them and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. Luke 2:51

Saint Joseph's Death

Saint Joseph is born to eternal life with his family at his side.

Patron Saint of a Happy Death

Saint Joseph is known as the Patron Saint of a Happy Death because he was blessed to die with Jesus and Mary at his side.

Saint Joseph

Saint Joseph, the patron saint of our parish, watches over us from his place in heaven.
